Orlando, FL (November 13, 2024) – East Orlando Gym (EOG) is thrilled to announce a series of renovations beginning Saturday, November 16th, designed to transform the gym into an even better place for members to pursue their fitness goals. These updates will create a more modern, comfortable, and inspiring environment that aligns with EOG’s commitment to member satisfaction and well-being.
To complete these enhancements efficiently, EOG will temporarily close from November 16th to November 25th. Members can look forward to a grand reveal early next year as the project reaches completion by the end of January.
Keeping You Active During the Renovations
While the main facility is closed, EOG has ensured that members can stay active and on track:
- Avalon Park South Village Gym Access: All members are welcome to use the South Village Gym at 4033 Cleary Way during the temporary closure. Simply show your membership app at check-in.
- Modified Class Schedule: A variety of classes will be available at alternate locations including South Village, The Pavilion, Encore, and outdoor sites (weather permitting). For details, check social media and the member portal.
A Sneak Peek at What’s Coming
These renovations are focused on creating a first-rate facility that enhances comfort, convenience, and functionality for all members. Key upgrades include:
- Upgraded Bathrooms: New cabinets, countertops, partitions, and lockers in both bathrooms will add a touch of convenience and luxury.
- New Bottle-Filler Station: Conveniently positioned at the bathroom entrance for quick and easy hydration.
- Group Ex Room: Updated flooring for enhanced safety and a better workout experience.
Additional Improvements Coming Soon:
- Weight Room Enhancements: Gym rubber along the walls will improve safety and aesthetics.
- Group Ex Room #2 (Spin Room): Fresh flooring and mirrors to create an energized and inviting atmosphere for current and new classes.
- New AC Unit: Improved climate control for a comfortable workout environment year-round.
EOG will be sharing sneak peeks and sample photos on social media so members can preview the changes. These upgrades underscore EOG’s commitment to providing a premier fitness experience, and the team looks forward to unveiling these exciting improvements.
Welcome Back Date: The gym will reopen on Tuesday, November 26th, ready to welcome members into a refreshed space.
