Group Exercise Instructor
Heather is a group exercise trainer specializing in yoga for the nervous system. Practicing yoga poses with breath awareness brings the body back to a balanced state where rejuvenation and repair can take place. She suggests the use of props such as chairs, straps, balls, and blocks to aid in the release of tension and blockages, thus opening up the energy pathways. Heather enjoys sharing new information from her continuing education workshops, which include both nutrition and yoga content. Her formal education is in Nutrition Science, and she worked as a Clinical Dietitian in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She later became certified in Plant-Based Nutrition. Being proactive in life is Heather's mantra, using nutrition and yoga to fortify one's mind, body, and spirit.
