Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Dave brings a wealth of experience and leadership to our community.Academically accomplished, Dave holds a Bachelor's in Political Science, a Master's in Business Administration, and is only a few classes shy of a Ph.D. in Public Finance from the University at Albany in Albany, NY. He is a NYS Certified Superintendent of Schools and School Business Official.Notably, Dave served as the Former Assistant Superintendent of Schools for Business and Operations, becoming the 3rd youngest in NYS at the start of his career. He oversaw a groundbreaking $250 million school building project with a $78 million operating budget.Beyond his academic achievements, Dave is a dedicated career and volunteer firefighter with over 25 years of experience in NY and FL. Holding all ranks, including Chief and Assistant Chief for almost 5 years, Dave has been a stalwart in both communities.Currently, Dave wears multiple hats: he's in his 4th year as the Lead Fire Instructor for the East River HS Fire Academy, teaching FL Minimum Standards for Career Firefighters. Additionally, he's in his 6th year as the Director of the East Orlando Knights FC, overseeing the competitive club and coaching the U12G and U15G teams.
